Public transport in London 2018 (Macam mana nak naik public transport di London 2018)

Hey guys! My post for today is going to be about "How to commute in London by public transport". As most of you may know, it is better to commute from places to places by using public transport if you're here as there are limited parking places and the parking fee is quite expensive. So how can you commute in this big city?  There are many option that you can consider to commute in London which are by:

1-Underground train
2-Overground train
3-Bus
4-Taxi/Uber
5-Bicycle
6- Walk


Main Transportation:

1-Underground train



2-Overground train

Both underground and overground train gonna cost you 2.40 pound one way. But don't worry, you're not going to be charge after it reach the final capping for the day which is 6.60 pound. (this is depend on the zone that you are going to travel.)

Final capping means, the maximum fees that you'll be charge for both overground and underground train. As an example, if you're going from A-B (2.40pound) B-C (2.40pound) then C-B (2.40pound) B-A (2.40 pound) all in Zone 1-2. From here, its gonna cost you (9.60 pound) in total but as the capping for the day is 6.80pound, you can save (2.80pound) because of this. However, the capping charge is different based on the Zone that you go.


3- Bus


Bus

Travelling with bus will be the same as travelling using tram and train as both of these transport use Oyster card and Contactless Bank Card. The fees will be shown as below or you can directly check in on their website in the link below:

This is the capping price for the Oyster card daily which differ from zone:

The options that you got to save more is by using:

1-Oyster Card



Oyster card is a contactless card that have the same function as your wireless debit card. This card is free but you need to topup your money to the card. Where to get this card? You can get it at the train station or any overground or underground station in London.

The Oyster card: Free (with 5pound deposit)

2-Travel Cards



Travel card can be found either daily, weekly or even monthly. This card can be purchase at the machine or the counter itself. The price is depends on the travel location of the places. You can also buy the tickets using online apps which is called as 'trainline apps'.

This apps can be found on your Appstore or Playstore for free.
