Suntikan Typhoid di Majlis Bandaraya Pulau Pinang (MBPP)

So today I wanna share about TYPHOID INJECTION. So what is actually typhoid injection and who should take this injection and where to take it in (Penang).

What is TYPHOID INJECTION?

Typhoid injection is to avoid Typhoid Fever or  Demam Kapialu in Malay that can be found in bacteria in polluted food or feces (najis). This Typhoid Fever can caused damage to our organ inside the body. It is a world wide decease that usually effect the chef or workers in the food industry such as chicken industry, meat industry, restaurant and many more.

Why & Who should take it?

As I said before, it is a vaccine that will prevent us from easily effected by the Typhoid fever. In Malaysia, all restaurant workers and restaurant keepers HAVE to take this injection as it is stated in AKTA MAKANAN 1983 for the owner of restaurant should make sure that the workers already vaccinated.

It is to avoid them from having a risk while handling the food. This include if you wanna work in food stall, KFC, MCDONALD, PIZZA HUT,  or  any restaurant.

So where to take it?

I dont know in other places but if you're living in PENANG,  you can take it at Majlis Bandaraya Penangin Komtar. It open from 9.00-4.00pm (Monday to Friday).  But Friday they closed from 12.15-2.45 for Jumaat prayer. Dont corget to bring your passport picture, only 1.

Price:

If you go to Klinic Swasta, it'll cost you RM60-80 per person. That's why I suggest you to go to the MB'P  because the price here is cheap and affordable. It is only RM37.10 (malaysian) and RM67.20 (Foreigner).

Conclusion:

Bring IC, 1 passport picture, RM 37.70(Malaysian) & RM67.20 (Foreigner) and went to MBPP in KOMTAR.
